1.First Step:
You want to learn playing guitar Then you have to know about guitar. The photo shows the name of different part of guitar.
Sitting Positions:
There are two sitting positions for holding the guitar; classical
and casual.
1. Pick up the guitar and make sure that the guitar body is
supported by your leg.
2. Position yourself at the edge of your chair.
3. Ensure that your back is relaxed but straight.
4. Lean the guitar back towards you slightly.
Standing Position
1. Pick up the guitar and place the strap over your shoulder. Adjust
the strap so that the guitar is positioned mid-body.
2. Use your left hand to support the neck of the guitar.
3. Rest your right hand over the bridge of the guitar.
Hand Positions:
It is important that you relax your wrists and hands. Straining them
can cause injury.
Remember Your thumb should never be placed this low on the neck of the
guitar as it puts
unnecessary strain on your wrist and thumb.
Fretting:
When you play the guitar, you use your left hand fingers to press
down the strings on the fret board of the guitar and use your right
hand to pluck or strum the stings at the bridge end of the guitar.
Using your left hand to press the strings on the fret board is
called fretting. Here are some tips you will need to know:
1. Short fingernails are essential.
2. Use only the tips of your fingers to press the strings.
3. When making a chord, be sure that each fingertip is placed
directly behind the fret.
We will cover chords in lesson one.
4. Check each string that it rings clearly and is not muted or
buzzing.
As a beginner guitarist, it may hurt your fingers to play. This is
normal. Every guitarist starts this way for the first couple of
weeks. With practice, you will develop guitar fingers (hard skin on
your fingertips).
Holding the Pick:
Position the pick between thumb and index fingers
now, It's Time to take a break. Well done, you've just completed the first step. Try to remember what you have learned here.
2.Second Step:
Exercise 1-2-3: here we are just adding one more fret I hope you will understand.
Here Exercise names are made according which finger are used for playing, example: exercise 1,2 we have used 1st and 2nd finger.
In this step you are about to learn about notes.
All the music played on the guitar are the combination of different notes. There are 12 notes in all the musical instruments. The notes are (A,A#,B,C,C#,D,D#,E,F,F#,G,G#).
There are seven main notes (A,B,C,D,E,F,G,)
Five of this main notes have sharp notes (A~A#,C~C#,D~D#,F~F#,G~G#)
Here you can see B and E has no sharp notes.
Now, there are six string on guitar
and when you stroke the strings without
holding any fret (this means when the strings are open)
this notes are played :
The bottom string or the thinnest string is your first string and the open note on this first string is E. Like this the open note on the second string is B, third string is G, fourth string is D, fifth string is A, sixth string is E.
The twelve notes can be shown in a circular way .
This circle shows when you play a C note by holding a fret, you will play a C# note on the next fret on that string. Example: Suppose i'm playing an E note in open 1 position (this means stroking open first string) then on the first fret (this means pressing the string on the first fret) i'm gonna get a F note (as you can see the image F comes after E ), so like this the second fret first string will give me a F# note.
Here i'm providing you a fret-board chart which will make u understand more clearly:

2.Second Step:
In this step we are going to do some finger exercise. Do not skip this exercise, it will help you to position your fingers on the fret-board and gaining speed at your fingers. I'm providing some images which shows how to place your finger on the fret-board:
Exercise 1-2: Position your hand fingers shown the upper images. place your 1st finger on the 6th string on the 1st fret and 2nd finger on the 2nd fret of 6th string. Now press down your first finger (keep your 2nd finger untouched with the string) and stroke the string with your pick (stroke from up to down for 1st stroke) . So it is sounding count 1 with the stroke. Then press 2nd fret with the 2nd finger and stroke the string with the pick (stroke from down to up for 2nd stroke). then go to the next string and do the same. Like this play fret 1 and 2 in all strings.
Exercise 1-2-3: here we are just adding one more fret I hope you will understand.
Here Exercise names are made according which finger are used for playing, example: exercise 1,2 we have used 1st and 2nd finger.
And this way practice these exercise (1,2,3,4), (1,3), (1,4), (2,3), (3,4), (2,3,4),(1,2,4),(1,3,4)
3.Third step:
All the music played on the guitar are the combination of different notes. There are 12 notes in all the musical instruments. The notes are (A,A#,B,C,C#,D,D#,E,F,F#,G,G#).

Here i'm providing you a fret-board chart which will make u understand more clearly:
So, here in this image you can clearly see the note circle. Example: take a look at the first string, It starts with the E note ( remember the starting note of any string is what you here when you stroke a string when it is open or free or when you are not pressing any string with your left hand ) So, after E note you can see in the circular image the F note comes, here in this fret-board image the F note also coming after the E note and the F note is in the first fret, next it comes F# note on the second fret, G note on the third fret. G# note on the fourth fret, A note on the fifth fret, A# or Bb note on the sixth fret, B note on the seventh fret, C note on the eighth fret, C# note on the ninth fret, D note on the tenth fret, D# note on the eleventh fret, and again E note in the twelfth fret. So, you can see we have started with the E note on the first string and we have got the E note on the twelfth fret on the first string. This means the note circle is again starting from the twelfth note. As we have started from open position, we have got our twelve notes between the eleventh fret and from twelfth fret the circle will start again. The twelfth fret its the E note again, the thirteenth fret its the F note again, on the fourteenth fret its the F# note, on the sixteenth its the G note and next the other notes.
I hope you have understand what is note and what is their relation on the fret-board.
This is the end of your second step.
